Neil’s 15-hour Marathon for Hospice

Neil Stevenson managed to bowl for 15-hours against a variety of bowls club members, to raise a magnifienct £900 for the Garden House Hospice on September 2.

bowls under lightsAs well as bowls club members, Neil was supported by his wife, Bev, who provided much needed beverages and food!

During the 15 hours, he bowled 120 ends involving about 440 woods.

It was also the first  use of floodlighs on a match that started at 7am, endured rain in the afternoon and continued until 10pm.
