FPC have been made aware that some of the sprinkler systems, fitted in properties in order that they comply with building regulations, are not fit for purpose.

During construction work carried out to extend one property it was found that the sprinkler system was not connected to the water main and the sprinkler heads were blocked. This has resulted in expensive remedial works that are the subject of an NHBC claim.
