Fairfield Scouts

scout logoThe 1st Fairfield Park Scout Group was formed on the 6th December 2013 and is part of the Biggleswade District in the County of Bedfordshire. The Group serves the community of Fairfield, an expanding parish established following the closure of Fairfield Hospital, originally known as the Three Counties Hospital.

Scouts 2The first meeting took place at the Fairfield Community Hall on the 3rd February 2014, attended by 25 children.  The Group now has a thriving Beaver Colony, a very healthy Cub Pack and a developing Scout Troop with over 70 members making lifelong friendships and enjoying new and exciting activities.

Scouting exists to actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society.

Scouts 1The Scout Group offers exciting and varied programmes for the young people of Fairfield to enjoy, including camping, hiking, swimming, abseiling, cycling canoeing plus many more activities

Scouts 3It is the Group’s aim to expand and develop in order to satisfy the growing demand for scouting in Fairfield. This however is dependent on the recruitment and retention of adult leaders and supporters.

If you are interested in becoming part of our success story please contact Andrew Harris, Group Scout Leader.
