Crushing Apples for juice or cider are the centrepiece of Apple day and we will be collecting apples for the event this Saturday and Sunday, September 17 and 18. We will be gathering at 10am on the area behind the Community Hall and invite you all to join us. If you cannot make this time but would like to participate we can provide Pickers and Collection Baskets which can be collected from the Community Hall.

Highways Matters
Central Bedfordshire Council have a 24/7 phone line to deal with emergency highways matters such as fallen trees blocking a road, traffic light failures etc. Please contact them on 0300 300 8049.
Doctors
The out of hours number is 111. They will direct you to an out-of-hours doctor if required.
There are Accident and Emergency Departments at Bedford General Hospital and Lister Hopital, Stevenage. There are also daytime (until 10PM) non-urgent walk-in centres at Bedford General Hospital and the QE2 Hospital in Welwyn Garden City.
