Budgets and Precepts
On an annual basis, during December / January, Fairfield Parish Council consider and set a budget. This sets out how the Parish Council is planning to spend money in the next financial year.
On the basis of this budget the Parish Council then set a precept. This is collected for the Parish council by Central Bedfordshire Council with the Council Tax and is the main source of income received by the Parish Council.
