Annual Returns

The parish council annual accounts are reviewed by an independent internal auditor and agreed at a Council meeting before being sent to the appointed External Auditor.

Local Councils in England with an annual turnover of £6.5 million or less are required by law to complete an Annual Return.

The Annual Return and statement of accounts for the current financial year is considered and approved at the Parish Council meeting in May or June after the report from the independent internal auditor has been received.

It is then submitted for external audit.

The audited or unaudited accounts, internal audit report and the Notice of the Public Inspection period for each year can be viewed by clicking on the appropriate year below.

Please note that the AGAR is exempt from accessibility regulations.

If you need support to access the information please contact the Parish Clerk, Katrina Henshaw on 07415 615225 or email enquiries@fairfieldparishcouncil.gov.uk
